Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil
I have loved Palmer's as a brand for many, many years and recently with having my skin turning dry this sounded like the perfect product to help that out. This is a dry oil which can pretty much be used anywhere on the body, including the face. This oil aims to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, dry & damaged skin and uneven skin tone. Due to it being from the brand Palmer's it smells absolutely incredible therefore I love putting it on my skin.
This oil is fast absorbing so you're not left feeling sticky or unable to do things after you've applied it. This works super duper well on my dry patches I have on my knees and ankles and really soothes them. This also helps the dryness on my face and I tend to apply this more in the evening and leave it on overnight. Simply because I find it then has longer to absorb into my skin and work whereas in the morning where I'm rushing I may not have enough time to apply this. It's not the quickest product to use ever but it's definitely worth it.
As mentioned it aims to improve many areas of the skin and I find that this does slightly help with the scarring I have on my face from my blemishes. It doesn't make a massive difference, like they're gone completely, but you can tell the difference if applied enough. It does say to apply this product three times a day which I do find excessive and something that can be hard to do if you work full time like me. So I will normally just apply this in the evenings, every evening, and then I can see a difference.
Overall this is a great product and such a huge sized bottle that will last a life time! You barely need any product so it really will last ages. I'd definitely recommend this if you have any dry patches and/or scarring you would like to sort out. Let me know if you've tried this product and also what your favourite Palmer's product is :-)

The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil
Another item which I purchased along side my Cleansing Oil is this over night serum from The Body Shop. As I've mentioned I do really like The Body Shop's products and they always have offers on which is another bonus when buying from them, whether it's online or in store. Something else I've been mentioning recently is that my skin has decided to turn really dry in areas. So I wanted something other than a moisturiser for dry skin to help it out.
I'd heard a few good things about this product and I liked the easiness of this product. You simply apply it before you sleep and it then works it's magic. At first I was slightly sceptical about putting an oil on my face, as I still do have oily patches. When I wake up in the morning my face is no different to any other morning which is great. This product clearly sinks in really well to my skin over night, it also does it pretty quickly on application too. It is an oil so can take slightly longer, I do tend to apply this about 5 minutes before my head actually hits the pillow. But once it's on my skin it doesn't feel heavy just obviously slightly oily but that soon goes.
When I do wake up in the morning I can see a difference in my skin. Some of my dry areas can become really quite red and tight but it definitely feels much better after using this product. Although this product does not aim at the redness the flakiness and tight feeling has been released. The dryness is relieved and it makes it much better for the day ahead. Although the dryness is relived it doesn't stay relieved for the whole day unfortunately. It does say 8 hour moisture which I think is slightly over exaggerated and unfortunately I wouldn't say it lasts quite that long. But I do really enjoy using this product and know that my skin will be replenished for a period of time. I must just mention the packaging as it feels really high end. The bottle is a baby pink glass and the little pipette makes it easy to know how much product you are getting out so you don't waste any.
Overall I'm pleased with this product and the results it has had on my skin. I will definitely continue to use this product to help relieve my dry patches as it doesn't phase my oily patches at all which is great. You can buy this product here from The Body Shop for £13 which is slightly on the higher price side but as I said, search for those discount codes to get the price down.

Macadamia Natural Oil Hair Care Travel Set
Another brand that I've always heard a lot about but had never tried myself until I spotted this set in TK Maxx. It's a great travel set full with 6 mini products and at a really affordable price. I'm always on the hunt to try and find products that will help minimize the dead ends on my hair. I thought this set would be a perfect way to try a new brand and also try and tame my hair slightly.
In this set you get 6 mini products which are; Rejuvenating Shampoo, Moisturising Rinse, Nourishing Leave In Cream, Healing Oil Treatment, Repair Masque and a wide tooth comb. This set really includes everything you would need to give your hair a complete pamper. Every product in this set has worked amazingly with my hair. Whenever I used even just one of these product I could tell the different. The shampoo and conditioner worked super well together and really left my hair feeling soft and sleek. The Nourishing leave in cream which was just applied to the ends of my hair left the ends of my hair soft and with added moisture, not leaving them dry like normal. The healing oil is simply amazing too. Again just applied to the ends of my hair but you can really tell the difference. It softens everything out, not leaving my dead ends all spiky and out of control. I must add as well all of these products smell so good!
It's great that all of these products work so well together, you could literally use all 6 of these products in one pamper session and it would leave your hair in heaven. The comb is great for my long hair which gets super duper knotty after washing it, so I'm not constantly tugging at my hair and pulling it out. I am now definitely a fan of Macadamia hair and will be on the look out for more, different products from them to try out!
This is an amazing set and I would definitely recommend it to those who were like me and hadn't tried anything from the brand before. As I've said I purchased this from TK Maxx so it's unlikely that they still have it in stock. Instead I'll leave a link straight to the Macadamia website so you can have a little browse at all their products they have to offer: here. I'd love to know your thoughts on this brand if you've tried it before :-)

Boots Skin Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets
It wasn't until relatively recently that I discovered these through my friend at work. She was using one of these on our lunch break at work and I was like why are you patting paper all over your face? Until she then described them to me and I went and purchased some for myself that I was amazed by them. Being a girl who suffers with a very oily t-zone if not managed then these are perfect for you!
I got these in Boots (obviously they're own brand) just to test them out as they were also on offer and the only ones I could actually find in Boots. They are effectively like a small piece of grease proof paper, simple ha ha. So every time you're looking slightly oily in areas you can just rip out a sheet of blotting paper (I think that's it's kinda real name) and simply pat it over those oily areas. Instantly you will see the oil remove from your face and be absorbed by this blotting paper. Sometimes it's nasty looking back at the paper when you're finished as it basically goes see through due to the oil! But at least you know it's working.
After using one of these sheets you are left with an oil free face and these do not affect your make up which I think is amazing! Yes you can obviously still touch up after, I do tend to add a bit more powder to my t-zone to keep the oil at bay from coming back too soon. But you can use these sheets as often as you feel the need too and they are perfect for chucking in your handbag and using on the go! I am honestly now a complete convert to blotting paper and use these an awful lot! These are also brilliant as instead of keeping the oil on your skin and just putting make up over the top these actually take the oil off the skin leaving it oil free!
I would definitely recommend trying them if you do suffer from oily skin as they are so handbag friendly and super quick and easy to use. You can find these ones here or like I said there are many other brands that do them which might be worth checking out. I just think these are cheap and cheerful if you just want to try them.
Let me know of any other brands that do blotting paper that you love, I'd love to try some more :-)
