I don’t know about you, but recently I’ve been finding myself scrolling through the new in sections of many fashion websites.. it must be all this free time I have! The one site I’ve found myself most drawn to is Asos. I have the Asos app on my iPad and have just found myself clicking on it daily to search through the new fashion pieces/styles, especially with this lovely weather we’ve been having in the U.K. 

So because of this obsession I seem to have taken up, I thought I would share a few pieces with you that I’ve put into my saved items. Firstly, the Nevada Sweatshirt is just the perfect piece for lockdown as it looks super comfy and would look great oversized with some cycling shorts. I’m not super tall but I do find that I can’t get away with normal mini dresses, without flashing something, so for this style dress I usually opt from the tall range. This Bardot denim look one is exactly that but from New Look on Asos. I’m not sure how white it would stay on me but is such an easy outfit with some summer sandals and crossbody bag. Now I’ve just said white things may not stay white on me, and I’ve saved some white mom jeans! But I’ve seen so many people style these with a simple tee, tucked in with a belt and either sandals or trainers and I’m all about the simple fashion so had to include them. 

Another dress from the tall section is this shirt style which I loved because of the tie waist which you’d be able to cinch in, a feature I personally love. Again another super simple outfit paired with sandals or trainers. I keep mentioning sandals so I had to feature a pair and boy are these a good looking pair. They’re simple and chunky and black goes with everything. I have the heart eyed emoji all over these sandals! Finally, with it being lockdown, I have actually been finding the time to do some home workouts in my living room, but I definitely don’t have the gear. I found these gym leggings and loved the elephant grey colour of them. These are super affordable too!

Seriously why do Asos get me every time? They seem to always have something (normally more than one) that catches my eye and seems to make me feel that I need it, when I probably actually don't. Everything included in this wish list, for one reason or another, I feel that I need it. Also, why is it when something is out of stock in your size that you need it even more?! It's super annoying and I feel needy that I keep checking back on the website, hoping and praying that it's back in stock. Surprisingly half the time, it's not. I do find that when things go out of stock on Asos that it does take a long time to come back into stock, maybe that's just me or the items I'm waiting for.

 

I love pretty much everything about Asos, the quality, website, endless styles and the saved items section. I've rambled about Asos many a time before on my blog so I won't go into it again. If you are a newbie to Asos then I definitely recommend checking it out, I can assure you you will probably, definitely find something you will love. Not only do they have their own branded stuff but they also sell a lot of other brands too which I like. As you can tell by the Olivia Burton watch which I only found around an hour ago and is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm just not sure right now is the perfect time for me to be spending that much money however tempting it may be.

Recently I have not been able to get enough of pretty much everything on Asos. There are so many things in my saved items page, which is one thing I love about the Asos website. You can basically save anything from the website onto a saved page and at a later date if you decide you want to buy something you saved, you just click on your saved items and voila! They are all saved there for 60 days. Asos has such a huge range of fashion, accessories, shoes, jewellery, etc. Honestly if you are ever looking for something then I always head over to Asos first. Simply because you can guarantee that you will find it on their website. They have such on trend items such as the denim skirt and monochrome trousers I've featured. The other great thing about Asos is that they have a tall section. If you're like me and find that 'normal' skirts just show off your bum then the tall section is something you should check out. I buy a lot of my skirts and dresses from this section as I know they will be that little bit longer and therefore cover my behind more appropriately.

I'm sure you've all heard of Asos and most of you have probably even ordered from there before but if you haven't then I suggest you get on over to their website. I'm seriously having to hold myself back from ordering from their website right now as my saved items are pretty jam packed! With it being my birthday tomorrow I thought it only fitting that I conduct a little wish list today, just in time. I can't say whether or not I'm feeling as excited for my birthday this year. My 21st was amazing, therefore this one has a lot to live up too, but it's very low key and will be celebrated early next month. There is however, as always, a few bits and pieces I have my eyes on this year. A new purse is something I have wanted for quite some time and I'm very picky when it comes to choosing a new one. It has to be real leather and I love this zip around style the best. Therefore this Radley one is my kind of perfect albeit rather on the pricey side. Olivia Burton watches are just so simple and pretty and I love them. My Michael Kors watch is still my baby but it has been worn everyday since I was given it so unfortunately has been through the wars slightly.

Some other bits and pieces I like to get for my birthday are sometimes the things that I don't necessarily want to buy myself throughout the year (if that makes any sense). Like yes I would love the items, but do I want to purchase them myself... Also the items that have been on a wish list for coming on to a year and I think, yes I would like to finally get around to trying it. This tends to be beauty items for me hence the two featured in this post. The By Terry eye shadow sticks are just beautiful but pretty pricey so would make a great present.

I am looking forward to my birthday tomorrow, only having to work half a day at work because of this makes it even better. And yes some delicious food will be consumed in the evening - it's a must. Daniel Wellington Watches

I've seen many bloggers recently with one of these beauties and I cannot get enough of them. I am a huge watch lover and my Michael Kors one has definitely been through the wars. Don't get me wrong I still absolutely love it and wear it every single day, and have done since I got given it. But these Daniel Wellington watches are really simple classics. I am a lover of silver, hence why I picked the silver watches to show you hey. These are the Bristol ladies watches and they are by far my favourite from the range. Although I'm slightly late to put them on my Christmas list they will definitely be going on my birthday wishlist. I think the black one is 100% my favourite but all the colours will simply go with every outfit. If you have a Daniel Wellington watch then I am very jealous of you but I'd love to hear your thoughts on these watches :-)

Sephora needs me

I always find myself browsing Sephora but have never taken the plunge into actually purchasing from their website. Now the hype has died down after Sephora now ships to the UK, with some exclusions, I now even more than before want to place this order. And with payday plus student loan coming up, who's stopping me? Only myself saying 'can you really justify that amount of money on more new make up?' well yes I probably can.

Sephora have the best 'value sets' as they're called which simply include many sample sizes from a range of different brands at a reduced price. The first one is called Give Me Some Lip including 6 different lip products and shades which just looks amazing. The second one I have my eye on is the Summer Crushes which now has even more money off including a load of mini summer essentials. Although I swear the summer now seems to have come to a sudden hault in the UK, were edging on Autumnal weather yet we're still in August, what's going on?!

Now for the longest time I have SO wanted to try make up from Tarte, yes we can now get it from QVC in the UK but not the entire range. The main thing I have always wanted is the Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Full Coverage Foundation, I've heard too many people talking about this so I am in desperate need of it. Also The Sculptor which simply looks like a fool proof contour for idiots, I need this too.

Not only does everyone talk about the Tarte foundation they also rave about the Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer, again something I am now desperate for. I'm hoping these two beauties will help sort my face out during my break out stages. Finally the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara duo, the main reason behind this want is Zoella. She featured it in a recent video and her eyelashes looked insane, so I need to try it out for myself.

Overall I am desperate to make this Sephora order but it's a toss up between whether my heart or head wins the bet.. Maybe after payday and when my student loan comes in we shall see (it hopefully in my arms mwahaha) Have you ever ordered from Sephora? What's on your wish list?

Topshop is the place to be

I was actually scheduling a Paris post today as I've just got back from a few days break for my birthday treat but it's taking longer to edit than anticipated, basically I took way too many pictures and am trying to number it down but I didn't want to not post today, even though it's my birthday! WOO! ;-) But I've had this to die for Topshop wishlist waiting to post so thought I'd share this one with you today and share my love for Paris with you next time, enjoy!

Topshop really are killing it at the moment and I'm finding myself on their website more than I probably should be, it's not doing my bank balance any good. I've always had a soft spot for Topshop and this season with Spring looming, I just want everything. I'm actually not a fan of my local Topshop, I find whenever I go in there I can never find what I'm looking for, so I tend to just shop online unless I'm heading further afield to a different Topshop.

The prints and colours are super pretty and different which I love. I have to say my favourite piece is the flower print tunic with a hint of fluro colour. I can literally just imagine wearing it so many different ways either casually with jeans or leggings or tucked into a pencil skirt for a slightly more formal feel to it. Obviously I just as much love everything else, the heart print flats are so cute (they also come in red) and think they'd jazz up a plain outfit. I love it when shoes can be the focus of a somewhat 'boring' outfit. 

I've always wanted a parka and loved this lightweight one which would be perfect for the coming Spring season when (hopefully) it starts getting a bit warmer in the UK! The pretty pastels and monochrome gingham patterns are also really cool. I love the monochrome look with a pop of colour, definitely something I love to wear.

Topshop is definitely my place to be at the moment and I cannot wait until payday to get my hands on a couple more pieces, fingers crossed. What are you loving from Topshop recently?

Birthday wishlist

It's that time of the year again and my birthday is fast approaching, I cannot believe how quickly it has come around! This year is also a big one, I'm going to be 21! Due to it being classed as a 'big' birthday, I seem to have everyone asking what I want more so than usual. But to be honest there really isn't much I want, no word of a lie I kinda struggled to put this list together, I just pulled some things together that I've wanted for a while but kind of forgot about, whoops! He he.

Olivia Burton watches are super pretty, I mean I think there are a few that would do my wrist justice but I really like the medium dials and for me they have to have either number, numerals or some sort of indication where the numbers are (embarrassing but true!). There are also a range of different coloured straps which is nice to choose from.

These gorgeous personalised starbucks phone cases are to die for! They're from an Etsy store and they are just so darn cute! They're personalised as your name is popped down one side and you can choose which drink you would like e.g. strawberry, chocolate and green tea. They are totally girly and I think the perfect little present for friends also.

I don't own enough pairs of heels and I actually need this nude pair to finish off an outfit for a wedding that I will be attending over Easter. This pair from New Look are just your standard pair but I like that they're not too high and are a nice affordable price too at only £14.99.

Since receiving this Laura Mercier primer in a beauty box recently I seriously need the full size, it really is amazing. I like it because it's oil free and as I have oily skin this really helps keep it at bay throughout the day meaning my make up is kept in place longer. It's pretty pricey and I'm definitely more of a high street girl but when I find something I love it always finds it's way to me.

Finally a YSL lipstick, I find the packaging the most gorgeous thing EVER! Every lipstick out there I find these the prettiest and I've read so many reviews, looked at so many different shades at the counter and I feel my birthday is the time to indulge. Again not normally one to plunge and spend £24 on a lipstick but it's definitely special. I don't actually have my eye on one particular shade, I swear there's so many I like, but I do love the look of shades 12 and 15, just so darn pretty.

In two weeks today I will be celebrating my birthday, alongside my mother (yes we share a birthday, it's alright ha ha) and I'm super excited as it's on a Sunday I would really love to go for a carvery and have a good ol' roast dinner! :-)

Pandora ring wishes

So this post is a little behind schedule so first things first I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and enjoyed lots of family time and giving, I know I certainly did. With it being Christmas and all I have been extremely busy and my blog definitely took a back seat and literally nothing got done - apart from this collage of gorgeous rings above. I am definitely a ring person and even more so a silver ring person. I love wearing rings and I feel lost when I don't have them on (they are pretty much glued to me though). Hence why I created this wish list to showcase my very favourite rings to all you lovely readers.

Pandora offer some gorgeous rings and these are just a select few of my favourites. Considering this post was meant to be up before Christmas, I was actually lucky enough to get 2 of the rings from this wish list above! I got the purple amethyst birthstone ring and the one below with all the small silver hearts. They are even more beautiful in person, these pictures just don't do them justice.

I find these rings so simple and easy to wear, I mean they literally go with anything and everything. If you're a silver girl like me then you'll definitely love them. Also the 2 I got are perfect worn together and stacking them. There are so many different styles to choose from and I already want some more to jazz up more of my fingers! I definitely think the star or the plain twisted one is next on my list for my plain left hand, he he.

Joules wish list

So right now I should probably be writing my uni assignment but hey, here's a new blog post for you! (about time too hey!) But it's true, my blog has had to kind of take a back seat since I've started uni simply due to the work load and the lack of free time I have at the moment. Doing a placement and being at uni and having a job is rather a lot to tackle, I'm sure you'll agree if you do the same. But anyway browsing the Joules website after receiving emails from them about all their new products and offers etc but I'm only focusing on two specific items from them which I adore.

Joules range of Quilted Jackets are very well known. Everyone loves a quilted jacket from Joules, well I certainly do. They are simply timeless, they do a range of different colours in the first one pictured but I specifically liked this olive green although I was also drawn to the gorgeous raspberry colour (which you can see by clicking the link above). There's also another version of jacket which is again timeless but with a hood. No word of a lie a coat with a hood is always a winner with me, when you find yourself in that situation with no umbrella and no hood, what do you do? Wish you had both or one of those things! So the need for a hood, especially in the UK is a must! Joules jackets also have the most gorgeous lining either a pretty floral or an on trend tartan which I think tops off the look of these lovely jackets.

Joules range of Duvet Covers are simply to die for! My oh my, they are just gorgeous and would look perfect in that kind of shabby chic bedroom. Personally I love the floral ones (as you can see the two I've chosen are both floral) but there are a few other patterns to choose from. I believe these are relatively new to Joules, forgive me if I'm wrong, and they do kind of remind me of the Cath Kidston kind of style but obviously with their Joules spin on it. The other cool thing about these duvet covers is that they are reversible, which I think is a nice feature to have. So if you're not feeling the floral (in this case) then these two have a nice and simple stripe on the reverse which you can also have on show. They include tonnes of different colours within the pattern so your bedroom could really be any colour but I think I'd like it with a plain, simple wall as the duvet would then look like more of a statement piece in the room.

Overall I love Joules, especially the jackets and new home section but they obviously have a lot more to offer on their website which you can check out too! All their fashion items are pretty timeless and don't really go out of fashion which is nice when you're spending that little bit more on items of clothing. Boohoo wish list

Well what a blustery morning it is for those in the UK, I've already ventured out to work whilst it was like playing dodgems on the roads avoiding fallen down trees and branches, and I've come straight back home again. Unfortunately there was absolutely no electricity at my nursery so I've got a day off, woo hoo! Although I really wished I could have stayed in bed other than getting up, using liquid eyeliner as whiskers to make me look like a cat (we were supposed to be having a Halloween party today). So overall it's been a pretty hectic morning already so what better post to do than a wishlist, actually it's pretty bad because in this mood it's twice as tempting to buy.

Normally Boohoo isn't somewhere I would normally shop, no real reason there's just so many websites I forget half of them when browsing online. But I came across it the other day and found some bloody lovely things if I do say so, I simply fell in love and then made a wish list. Boohoo is a relatively cheap online site which offers everything fashion and accessory wise so it's perfect.

Firstly the smock trend, it's been about for a little while and seems to just be everywhere, don't get me wrong I love the trend it's just one of those 'can I pull it off myself?' kinds of trends. So on Boohoo I located smock tops which I thought was different to the usual smock dresses I've seen. They had a few patterns to choose from, mostly floral, and to be honest I liked all of the patterns but this one seemed the most autumnal out of all of them colour wise.

Oversized jumpers in the Autumn/Winter is a must have for me! I literally live in them so the two in this wish list are no exception! The plain olive green one looks super chunky and again comes in many different colours so if the green isn't your favourite definitely check out to see what other colours they offer. I would definitely get these in the next size up too so that they're nice and warm but that's just how I like to wear them. The other jumper in this wish list is pretty similar but this one has a really pretty floral pattern on, I've seen this kind of jumper before and really like the pattern. Again as the other jumper there were a couple of other colours to choose from and again I'd get it nice and big for the winter.

I seem to have a bit of an obsession with midi skirts and seem to have collected a fair few since the summer, so it's no surprise that I've included one in this wish list. I love this one as it has autumnal colours in and obviously floral which again is very in for the season. I think paired with a chunky jumper and some boots it's the perfect outfit for autumn and then adding some chunky tights when it gets even colder in the winter (which it definitely will do if you're living in the UK like me, boo!)

Finally a chunky knit cardigan, they're always in because the look of them is just so effortless. Cardigans always seem to be the one thing in my wardrobe that I do not have enough of, especially chunky knitted ones like this one. It's also a gorgeous space dye print of blue, purple and red which I really like and not just your simple plain cable knit ones (which I also absolutely love). This one is also priced really well compared to other knitted cardigans I've seen which I think can sometimes be a bit too pricey so that nudged me towards this one as well I must say. Cardigans can be worn with literally everything and anything so they really are a staple piece like the chunky knit jumpers.

So that's my Boohoo wish list! I'm holding out until payday on Friday when hopefully all of these beauties will be mine, hehe :) I'd love to know what you think of Boohoo and if you've shopped there before! Now it's time to chill and watch a bit of This Morning, happy Monday!

Hello! It's been another busy week for me again and yesterday was my first day off in two weeks! My god I was (and most probably still am) shattered, the whole uni, placement and work is getting to me but fingers crossed hopefully I will soon get into the swing of things and keep posting regularly. Since having a few evenings free I simply find myself lusting over new things and now I'm not working full time due to uni, I find myself with less money = problem. So I've built up a small high end beauty wish list.

1. Origins clear improvement mask is something I have wanted to try for a very long time, having that problematic skin prone to break outs I've heard this clay mask works wonders for this. I've never tried an Origins product but it's always the website I check up on and always a brand I've wanted to try as they are so lusted over. Alongside this mask I'd love to try the spot treatment which many people rave over too.

2. Benefit hydra smooth lip colour is a relatively new product from benefit. They are lipsticks which come in different coverages such as sheer, medium and full. As soon as I saw these hit the internet they instantly caught my eye due to the unique packaging and range of colours across different coverages. Although the packaging looks very unique and different I feel it could be a bit clumpy and large but that doesn't stop me wanting to try it! It has a slightly special feeling about it and I've tried many benefit products before and loved all of them.

3. Benefit stay flawless primer, another Benefit product! Since this primer was released I've tried to reason with myself about whether or not to purchase but to be honest I really just want to try it! Again another pretty packaging from Benefit and I like the fact that it's a primer on a stick and not a liquid based primer. I think this is one of the reasons as to why I'm intrigued into trying it!

4. MAC Crosswires lipstick, I can't tell you how long I've wanted to purchase this particular lipstick or simply just any other lipstick from MAC. Yes you heard right, I've never tried a MAC lipstick and my lord I so want to. They are obviously so raved about everywhere in the blogging world and out. Since I haven't really been into lipstick for that long, I now think I need to purchase one to see what all of the fuss is about! I've had my eye on Crosswires but I can't get over how many there are to choose from! I think I really need to head down to my nearest counter and have a real nosey! That is one downside to MAC for me, there is only one counter which isn't too close to me so it's rather annoying to get my hands on!

So there we have it, probably only a slice of my beauty wish list right now! After an evening full of reading haul posts and also watching them on YouTube, I have yet again come up with a completely full wish list of new wants added to my ever growing list. I don't think I'll ever get this list down to zero, but I can keep dreaming. Although it does sometimes keep me going at work, I'm a planner so when it comes to payday I tend to plan exactly what I'm going to treat myself too, along with a little bit of saving on the side. (Just now realising the bits and pieces I've picked above colour match well..) With it not being too long until the next payday already then I'm kinda hoping I can tick most of these beauties off my list.

The title of this post is way too true, what is wrong with the UK weather right now? Although I'm hearing promising things about tomorrows weather and it's my day off, yay! But first things first I'm going to have my mullet coloured and chopped, bye bye roots. Then I have a dentist appointment, and yes I freely admit it, I'm scared. Usually mine and my mum's appointments are at the same time but I had to change mine so I'm going it alone.. wish me luck! But hopefully once I've ticked these items off my list I may actually be able to wear them in the 'British summer'.

Also on the topic of shopping, after being ill for a few days last week and having to call in sick at work it left me placing online orders from both Topshop and H&M, woops. But I did manage to find the shoes from Topshop that I'd been wanting for ages in my size and some absolute bargains from the H&M sale. I do find H&M delivery takes an awful long time so my patience is going to be tested with these parcels, does anyone else think this?

Is it just me or has March been THE longest month ever!? It still feels like payday is weeks away but fear not it's now only days away :) Now I've also noticed that I do not need 5 dresses in 1 month but they are all just so pretty I couldn't resist putting them in this post and showing you! 

Now along with all the things above I've found the prettiest bag which I also want.. whoops. It's very hard to find a bag to please me, I'm very fussy with them and the tiniest detail can put me off straight away! With my birthday lingering (it's 2 weeks today!) I can't help but have a wish list, can I? It's that time after Christmas when I find a few more things I want to add to my beauty collection and wardrobe. It's made worse as it's January when I've spent all my money on Christmas presents. Although I do get a sneaky pay packet on the 11th of this month so I may be able to indulge in a few of these products and treat myself ;-) Although I got many beauty products, clothes and a new bag for Christmas I just can't help myself. And when I get searching all the websites on the net I get carried away and favourite everything. Then end up with way too many and have to sort them out, hehe. I've had a nice relaxing day off work today and go back tomorrow so am thinking I may sneak off into Boots on my lunch break and see which items off this wish list I can get my hands on! (bit cheeky before payday!)
