MUA Shade 12

My first ever MUA nail polish, I simply just couldn't resist when I found out it was only £1?! I mean what nail fanatic girl wouldn't? I just thought it was crazy! So I purchased this colour, I couldn't find a name but it's shade 12 and it really is such a gorgeous colour!! It's a really hard colour to explain, it is a pink but it's slightly purple too? Hopefully the pictures do the colour some justice anyway :-) I did have some negative thoughts about this nail varnish, not because I'd heard any bad reviews but simply just because I couldn't believe that for £1 you'd get such a good product. The application was smooth and easy, I did only apply 2 coat of the polish but I think it really could have done with 3. I know the pot of polish is rather small but I think for the price it's definitely worth it and I definitely will be repurchasing some of the new colours MUA have just brought out! They look gorgeous, all in lovely autumn shades. If you've never tried MUA polishes then I really recommend them, so head down to Superdrug now :-) Which shades are your favourite? xo

Barry M Aqua Glitter

Whenever I go into Boots I never seem to be able to pull myself away from looking at all the nail varnishes! I walk around every stand and stare.. Barry M glitters get me every time. They're so pretty and so affordable! This aqua glitter was only £2.99 and I think it's the same price for pretty much all their nail varnishes! At the same time I also purchased a new Barry M top coat as there was some sort of deal when you brought two Barry M varnishes but I have also now forgotten what it was! I'm sorry! Anyway base coat on I layered up 3 coats of the glitter varnish and then popped on a huge dose of top coat. I always put a load of top coat on with glitter nail varnishes so that they stay longer as I find if I don't put enough on they tend to peel away from the sides of my nails. I really love this glitter, it has really small flecks and then larger flecks in as well which really catch the light. It's gorgeous! I would love to get my hands on more Barry M glitters simply because they do the job - they make my nails look amazing and it's simple and cheap! Definitely reccommend these glitter varnishes :-)

Superdrug haul - MUA, Rimmel & Vaseline

Somehow the other day I managed to make two trips into Superdrug and buy some bits both times.. Do not ask how this happened, but it did. Recently I've been hearing good reviews about MUA but I had never tried any of there products so I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to do so as there was an offer on: when you spend £8 or more you get a free eye shadow palette". When I went to the till with my bits and the eyeshadow palette she told me that that wasn't the offer and it was when you brought 2 eyeshadow palettes equalling £8 you got one free. I didn't question her at the time but since coming home and seeing MUA on Twitter I should have got my free eye shadow palette which I am gutted about to be honest with you! Considering going back with my receipt and asking but I don't like rude people and don't know if I would be classed as being rude?? Ha ha, thoughts please?

Anyway onto the MUA product, I purchased the Primer £4. I've only ever tried one primer before this one and it was a small sample in my Glossybox, it was a really good one but I wasn't going to pay the price tag to re-purchase so I decided to try this one out. I then picked up a nail varnish as it was only £1?! Although I don't have very high hopes for it due to it's price but I will soon tell you guys what I think. And finally my most exciting purchases... The new bronzer and blusher!! AREN'T THEY SOOO PRETTY? Yes I agree. I couldn't leave them! They're both mosaic and I'm so excited to try them although I don't want to ruin the prettyness, ha ha!

On my second trip, after realising I forgot on my first trip, I purchased a Rimmel eyebrow pencil. In a recent Glossybox I received the HD brows kit, which I like but am not really getting on so well with it so thought I might try a pencil instead. The lady in there helped me chose the right colour for my eyebrows and she was really helpful giving me tips as well, so I really am excited to try this products! On the lid as well it has a comb/eraser which I think is a really handy touch to the product.

Finally on my second trip this huge bottle glistened at me. Now I absolutely LOVE anything that's cocoa or coconut when it comes to lotions and bath products. So when I saw this on offer, I think it was about £2.50 maybe a little less, I couldn't leave it. I can't even describe the smell to you, it really is amazing!! You just have to go into Superdrug and smell it for yourself! It did come in different smells (?) but I can't remember what they were!

So that's everything for now, I will be sure to come back to you with reviews on all of these products soon enough :-) and I'm heading to Cambridge on Wednesday for a little (I say little, I know it won't be) shopping trip so look out for another haul soon! And follow me on Instagram @natalieellis23 for some Cambridge snaps! Over and out bloggers xoxo
