Nip + Fab Spot Fix

I have way to many spot creams lurking around my bedroom and skin care draws, I actually seem to be getting slightly relieved when I finish one just so it's one less to store. I was actually pretty gutted when this one finished as I have absolutely been loving this. The website says:

'This effective formula combines salicylic acid for deep pore cleaning, vital to target blemishes plus eucalyptus and tea tree to purify skin for a triple threat in blemish busting!

Nip+Fab’s Spot Fix works to decrease the appearance of redness and swelling whilst preventing and reducing the appearance of UV-induced erythema for sensitive skin meaning you can get fast relief from spot-prone skin!'

This is an amazing spot gel and really does get to work on those spots! I just pop this on before bed and in the morning the spots have significantly calmed, soothed and gone down. I couldn't recommend this treatment enough if you are like me and have blemish prone skin. It honestly worked a treat and after I've used a few more of my other spot creams up I'll definitely be re-purchasing this product. It isn't the cheapest treatment but by far is not the most expensive either retailing at £9.95. You can buy it from the Nip + Fab website here where it is currently on offer. P.s. excuse the grubby packaging, it was well loved :-)

Avon Planet Spa Sleep Serenity Pillow Mist

I don't know about you but I'm one of those people who clambers into bed and thinks about absolutely everything under the sun that have pretty much no relevance to anything at that moment in time. Due to this I could get into bed at one time and it won't be until a couple of hours later that I'm finally asleep. This is the most annoying and frustrating thing ever, especially when I start counting down the hours I have until I have to be up at the crack of dawn the following morning.

I'm always on the look out for things to help me get into that right frame of mind before I go to sleep in aim to cut down the time it actually takes me to drift off. I've tried a few things before but nothing seems to really work for me, that I've tried anyway. I saw this product in the Avon catalogue quite a while back now and it was on offer (Avon always do many great offers) so I thought why the heck not! I think I paid around £2 for this, maybe even less, which is a bargain - whether it worked or not.

Now I must say I think so many things can influence how you sleep each and every night, also every person is different. This pillow spray smells so lovely and actually really relaxing. The scent is Lavender and Camomile and honestly just smells incredible. I just spray a couple of sprays onto my pillow and around my pillow where my head would be. It doesn't leave your pillow feeling wet which is a plus.

I absolutely love using this product as I find it really does help me relax before sleep and the smell is amazing. Although I'm unsure as to whether it actually helps me get to sleep faster as unfortunately I still think of many things which I think is something only I can change. But it definitely helps me get more prepared for sleep and leave my bedding/room smelling nice. Also for the price it's a great product to try out; like I said it may work differently on different people!

I'd love to know if you have any tips or different products you've tried that have worked for you :-)

Feel Unique Haul

A while back Feel Unique sent me an email all about their sale and all I can say is that I'm a sucker for a beauty sale. I tell myself I'm just going to browse and then days later a parcel arrives at my home, I don't know how it happens! Although I was able to restrain myself, slightly, and only picked up these three items.

The first thing I picked up is the Palmers Eventone Dark Spot Corrector. This was a total random purchase but I have always loved everything from the Palmers cocoa butter range so was drawn to this one too. The reason I wanted to try this is it claims to target post acne/spot scars which I have many of, unfortunately mine don't disappear so quickly. This stuff smells great and I'm sure I'll do a full review on it soon.

Next I picked up a different pack of the Yes To cleansing facial wipes and these ones are from the blueberries collection. I really enjoyed the last pack so wanted to try some different ones and these ones happened to be in the sale so I thought I would try these. These are aimed for age refresh but also to cleanse and moisturise. So I'm hoping I like these ones as much as I liked the other ones I tried which I reviewed here.

Finally I picked up the Real Techniques Stippling brush which I have actually wanted to try for quite some time so I pleased when I found it in the sale. I have many other brushes from Real Techniques which I love therefore I wanted to add this one to my collection. I haven't tried it yet but am super excited to and also to try it with different products. Again I'm sure I'll let you know how I get on.

And that's it for my small Feel Unique sale haul, I'm pleased with the bits I picked up and soon I'll be putting full reviews of all the products featured on my blog. I hope you enjoyed this haul and I'd love to know if you've tried any of the products I purchased and your thoughts :-)

TK Maxx Haul #2

TK Maxx beauty section has really been on point recently and I haven't been able to stop myself from purchasing rather a lot of bits that I've seen as you can probably tell. They always have great brands at a discounted price so it's great when you find something you've been after for a while at a fraction of the price.

The first thing I picked up was from Orly and it's their Primetime which is basically a nail primer which claims to prevent chips. Anything to help my nail varnish last longer is a winner for me so if this product works I'll definitely be raving about it on my blog. I'm not however one to make the process of painting my nails any longer than it can already take. So if this product is not a fast dryer then hopefully it will make up for the no chipping. This product was a bargain at only £2.99.

Next I got this lovely set from Macadamia which includes 6 different products inside and was only around £15. This was something I was really excited to get my hands on as the brand, Macadamia, I've heard so much about. The products are quite expensive when bought separately so I was pleased when I found this set. The products include; a shampoo, conditioner, oil, mask, treatment and a comb. This is a brilliant way to try out all of the products and decide what you like/dislike. I have already dived into this set but I'll do a separate post on all my thoughts.

Finally I picked up a whopping four products from Elemis, again a brand I'd heard so much about but had never actually tried. These were all a great price ranging only from £7.99 to £9.99 so I couldn't resist them. From left to right I picked up; soothing eye rescue, treatment gel, matte attack (including a moisturiser and face wash) and an overnight serum. I've already started a couple of these products but not all of them yet but I'm definitely excited to do so and to get a good opinion on the brand.

And that's it, my TK Maxx haul! If you live near a TK Maxx store then I definitely recommend you popping in to check out the beauty section as there are so many amazing products in there at the moment. You can also check out the TK Maxx website here if you don't have a store near you. I hope you enjoyed this post and keep your eyes peeled for reviews in the future of these products :-)

Zoella Beauty!

After watching many vlogs all introducing the Zoella Beauty launch, I couldn't resist purchasing a couple of bits for myself when they were released on Feel Unique. I'm 100% sure that you have all heard about Zoe's products because if you haven't then where on earth have you been? They have Zoe written all over them from the rose gold to the polka dots, they are the prettiest and cutest packaged items ever. I did have to restrain myself when purchasing these and did only manage to get two (which shocked me) but I'm sure in the future I will have the others in my collection as I won't be able to stop myself.

So firstly I picked up one of the make up bags out of the two from Zoe's collection. I needed a new make up bag as my old Primark one had served it's time and was on the way out. So when I came across this one I needed to try it out. Now I understand this isn't really aimed at my age group but I wanted to give it a whirl and I love it! It's the perfect size; not too big nor too small. The colours are great and the rose gold zip just makes it.

Secondly the bath fizzes which were top of my list and I just had to have. I've always been a fan of bath bombs/fizzes and anything to make a bath that little bit more exciting and these do exactly that. As I've mentioned the packaging is to die for and the product inside is amazing too. I've already used three of these and they're great. They are simple but make your bath smell gorgeous and the scent isn't too strong nor overpowering either which I think is nice.

Both of these products are amazing quality, affordable and just have Zoella written all over them! I have always watched Zoe's YouTube since starting my own blog and she has always been an inspiration, as she is to many, many other bloggers too I'm sure. If you haven't already (which I'm sure you have) you can find the Zoella Beauty products on Feel Unique and Superdrug also and I definitely recommend checking them out! The other products in Zoe's range are definitely on my wish list for the future :-) well done Zoe!

Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring

I have always suffered from headaches when wearing my hair up using a hair band so have always been on the look out for different kinds of hair bands or ways in which to wear it up without using a normal hair band. I came across these a while back after reading a lot about them and finally purchased them from eBay.

The idea behind these hair bands is to simply be traceless (clue's in the title) but also to leave no kinks and to be kind to hair, avoiding split ends. I've been using these hair bands for a lengthy amount of time now and can say that I have really enjoyed doing so. I found that these hair bands had the right amount of hold, even though I have really thick hair, and hallelujah they did not give me a headache! I was actually amazed, I'd tried so many different products and am pleased to say I've finally found something that works for me!

You get three of these rings in a pack (my mum has nicked one hence why there's only two in the picture!) and they pretty much come in every colour possible. I was pretty boring a picked brown the same as my hair colour just so they would be that little bit more hidden. But I would now definitely invest in more different colours. They retail between £3-£4 which can be seen as pretty steep for three hair bands but in my eyes they're definitely worth it. As I said I picked mine up from eBay but so many different retailers now sell them such as Boots and Feel Unique.

I do have one slight downside which is that after a lot of use/over a period of time the rings do start to lose their grip. I know this is pretty standard for most hair bands but when you only have three and are paying the price it's a bit of a downer. So yes it's time for me to invest in a new pack, I just need to decide on a nice new colour :-)
