eBay bargains

1. I love these heated eye lash curlers, I've had about 3 now and although they don't last the longest amount of time they are so cheap that it doesn't even matter! They curl your eyelashes within seconds and you honestly cannot go wrong buying these. You can get them here

2. I've seen these Pop nail varnishes floating around the blogging atmosphere for quite some time but have never actually tried one myself. But I've found them on eBay at such a cheap price and the range of colours you can choose from is huge! You can get them here

3. For quite some time now I've needed to find a new way of storing my necklaces, they can't hang on the side of my mirror forever (trust me, I think it might topple soon). So the hunting on eBay continued until I found this cute shabby chic necklace holder. It fits in perfectly with the theme of my room and I think it's a great way to keep your necklaces looking pretty and tangle free. You can get it here

4. How cute is this case? My friend had one a little while back but I never actually ended up purchasing one, until now. I don't know why but I seem to go through phases with phone cases and for ages now I haven't purchased a new one and for 99p I couldn't exactly say no. They also come in a range of pretty colours! You can get them here

5. Again I've seen these phone cases around for quite some time but again never taken the plunge. I absolutely love the look of these ones but just keep thinking 'it must break?' But I don't care, Millie Mackintosh has got one so why not, ha ha. Also in a range of cool metallic colours. You can get them here

6. Finally I've wanted to purchase some nail wheels for such a long time! And I finally did so. It's such an easy way for us bloggers to really show what a nail colour looks like, when it's actually not on your nails. I picked up 10 wheels which I think will last me a pretty long time and I'm excited to try them! You can get them here

I hope you enjoyed this quick post and find yourself some eBay bargains! I absolutely love eBay for all these cheap bits but also for finding clothes too. I also love selling bits on eBay too for that extra bit of money (I'm actually selling some bits on there now if you would like to check them out: here) Are you a fan of eBay? What bargains have you found on there recently?

Boots Haul

Here I am back with another haul, I honestly can't stop myself recently! There just seems to be so many new and exciting beauty/make up items in the high street that I end up getting lured in and with a full basket. What first drew me to the Boots website was the launch of the Maybelline Baby Lips which every blogger has been chatting about. As they are not in stores yet I thought it the perfect time to make an online order and to get free delivery I had to spend over £20 so that wasn't very hard.

So first things first I picked up 3 of the 6 Maybelline Baby Lips, Maybelline is currently on 3 for 2 at Boots hence why I got 3. I was tempted to get all of them but thought that was a tad extravagant considering I've never tried them before and wasn't sure what to expect. Anyway the 3 I picked up were Peach Kiss, Pink Punch and Cherry me. I haven't properly trialed these as I only got them yesterday but so far I really like them. They all smell fruity and I really like the packaging. Also Pink Punch and Cherry Me have a slight tint to them, and I'm talking very slight, but I can notice it and I rather like that about them. These are also only £2.99 which is a bargain and even better with the 3 for 2 offer on at the moment.

Next I picked up 2 Sinful Colors nail varnishes, I've wanted to try some of these for so long since they launched but never got my hands on them. Again they're a product that I, personally, can only get online due to all my local Boots not stocking them. So again this was a perfect opportunity to order some. Sinful Colors have many different finishes of nail varnishes which is nice to have the variety there within the same brand. I picked up one glitter, obviously the green, which is called 'Call You Later' and is a lovely lime/olive green glitter. I also got 'Daredevil' which I believe may be a pearl finish (if I've got that wrong then it's just a normal varnish) but it's a very bright fuchsia pink. I can't wait to try these and for only £1.99 each they're definitely a bargain.

I then got a few bits from Collection, recently I've been on the look out for a make up setting spray. I haven't actually come across many other than the Urban Decay one (which I still very much want to try) and this one I purchased. It's called 'Fix Me Up' the long lasting make up fixer. This is obviously a high street one and was a slice of the price at £4.99. I think these setting sprays could be a staple in the summer months so I'm excited to try this. I also then picked up a 'Work The Colour' eyeshadow pencil, this is an influenced purchased from Zoella featured in her recent video. I got this in the colour 'Vintage Blush' which is a gorgeous shimmery pale pink, I've only swatched this on my hand but it seems creamy and is a lovely colour which would look nice in the corner of the eyes or all over the lid. Also because I spent over £4 on Collection products I got a free nail varnish, this was a nice little surprise as I had no idea what colour I was going to get. It's actually a rather nice teal green colour called 'Electric Dreams'.

My last purchase was from 17 and is one of their creme eyeshadows called 'Wild Metallic Eyes' and I got the colour 'Wild Nude'. Again if you watched Zoella then you'll know this is another influenced purchase. It's like the Maybelline Color Tattoo's (which I already have one of and I love. I was also actually going to purchase another one of these online but all the colours were mixed up and I didn't want to receive the wrong colour) but it's less pricey. Again I've only swatched this but the colour is very wearable as you would think as it's called nude. It's also very creamy and there's just not so much shimmer in this one compared to my Maybelline one. The other thing which will define the 2 is the wear of them, the Maybelline ones really do last all day so I'm looking forward to seeing if this one matches up too that.

So that's it for my Boots Haul, I hope you enjoyed it and I'd love to know if you've tried any of the products I purchased and your thoughts on them! It's payday again today and there's already more things I want to purchase (as always) but I'm trying to hold back, let's see how long this lasts, hehe! Hope you're all having a lovely week :-)

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

I've been a naughty beauty blogger... Hit the back of my wrist now. I actually used this product once before photographing it! I know I know but I have my reasons. You do not know how long I've wanted to invest in a Real Techniques brush and you don't know how long I've had to put up with my old foundation brush which just didn't do anything for my foundation or my skin. I cannot express how excited I was when I finally took the plunge and got this in Boots a couple of weeks back.

I've never really been one to buy brushes (and this is still only my first proper purchased one!) but I can say that I think this brush has single handily changed that and I know want the whole Real Techniques collection. So when I purchased this for the price of £9.99 I thought it was pretty steep but I also knew what all you other beauty bloggers have said about this brush. I asked many of you on a bbloggers chat which brush should be my first and this one was the clear winner. So it was purchased and I just wanted it to be the next morning so that I could use it already!

I've been using this now for nearly a couple of weeks and oh my! It's just amazing, it really makes my foundation look flawless but really buffing it into the skin. It has dense bristles which work my liquid foundation into my skin really well. I can't believe I've been putting up with my naff brush for so long when this was just sitting on a shelf at my local Boots. It feels super soft on the face and just glides my foundation onto my skin whilst being easy to hold with a thick sturdy handle.

I have been using this brush with my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation and have been loving the look it's been leaving. It sinks the foundation into my skin flawlessly still giving me that lovely dewy finish. It also leaves me with a great coverage and unlike with my old brush I don't have to then go back over my face with my fingers to blend sharp lines as the brush does this for you. I just find this brush makes applying my foundation super quick and easy which I absolutely love. After using this I definitely want more of the Real Techniques brushes so I think I'm now hooked.. woops! (but so worth it!)

Have you tried this brush? I'd love to know your thoughts and also which brush I should buy next to get my collection going! What's your favourite Real Techniques brush? xo

Palmers Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Body Lotion

What beautiful weather we've finally received in the UK! It's the first proper sun that we've seen in a very long time but obviously, as with any weather, we were unprepared. The fact that I've literally had to live in summer dresses, shorts and vests without showing off an indecent amount of skin has meant that I've actually got myself a little bit of a tan going on, hallelujah! But before this all came about I purchased this lovely product and it's been my savior for my pasty legs.

I love the Palmers range, especially the cocoa butter, the smell is absolutely divine I cannot get enough of it! The fact that this product contains cocoa butter and vitamin E means that it's totally moisturising on the skin and makes it super soft. It's easy to apply, I just use my hands and make sure I wash my hands properly afterwards. Although this did leave slight trouble once leaving me with slight orangeness on the side of my finger nails (nasty looking) but that may have just been me. There is also the option of using a mitt obviously but other than that one time I haven't had any trouble using my hands.

The actual colour of the bronzer is fairly natural on first application and considering it's a gradual bronzer a lot more colour comes out than I'd imagined it would. It's still natural looking and not dark but just more colour than other gradual tanners. After a couple of days after application I'm left with a nicely built up natural looking tan which I love. You can obviously apply more for a darker looking tan, I tend to apply this once every other day as that way I find I get it more natural due to washing/showering in between applications.

Like I mentioned the application is easy and streak free as long as you make sure it's all rubbed in properly (stating the obvious) but I did find application hard around my ankles. You definitely need to spare the product around more 'difficult' areas. The smell is lovely but I find it does stick around for quite a while, not that it's all that bad as it smells of cocoa which is lovely. But I know some people may find this annoying. It also sinks into the skin pretty quickly so there's not too much drying time. Also this product is only around £5 something then I'd say it's definitely worth the price tag.

Overall I really like using this product and without a doubt when I need a top up tan I know I will get that from this. I think it's suitable for all skin tones simply as the colour control is in your hands (literally). This product takes minimal effort which is again something I love as after a shower you can just whack this on and voila! A lovely summer essential for those not so sunny days :) I'd love to know your thoughts on this product if you've tried it, if not then go purchase a bottle!

Massive Collective Haul

Hello everyone! I've literally been meaning to write this haul post for a very long time but I always find it difficult to transpire the products through as few pictures as possible so it's not a gallery. So fingers crossed this one comes across well :) I've purchased these bits over the past month or so, so although it looks like a lot (I know it is I just try to justify it) it has been over a period of time! Anyway I'll get on with it...

Orange Dress - H&M
As soon as the H&M sale hit online I was straight on there. This particular dress I actually got a few months back but ended up returning it due to never wearing it, then it turned up in the sale for less than half price. Yes it was a bargain at only £7 and left in my size which is always a bonus. I couldn't help but purchase it again and feel less guilty about the purchase. It's a lovely chiffon floaty material and I don't own anything in this rustic orange colour so it's a lovely addition to my wardrobe.

T-Shirt - Primark
A slightly boring purchase but this is the only thing I purchased when popping into Primark with my mum, weird. It's just a simple grey tee but has a slight edge with black suede sleeves. It's nice and oversized so easy to just chuck on with a pair of leggings on those lazy days. And with this only being £4 you can't really go wrong. They did also have this in other colours too so I may pop back for some others!

Lace Top - H&M
Another H&M sale purchase, recently when I was scouring my wardrobe looking for pretty/girly t shirts.. I just didn't have any!! Shocking! So my hunt started here and this is the first one.. I believe it was £5 in the sale and is a lovely nude pink colour with pretty lace detailing at the top. It also has scalloped edges on the sleeves which I think is a nice little touch. I think it can be dressed up or down which I love about this.

Floral Jeans - Monsoon
Another work purchase, as soon as I saw these jeans first thing in delivery I loved them. Ditsy floral print is such a summer staple that never seems to die out. There quite a thin denim which is also nice for summer and teamed with a plain top I think this is a staple. I believe these are £45 but are amazing quality.

Lace Dress - H&M
Another H&M sale buy, again I've had my eye on this dress for a long while so was pleased to see it go into the sale. To be honest I can't remember the exact price but either £7 or £9 comes to mind. Everybody needs a LBD and here's a new addition to mine. It's got lovely lace panels on the sides and another one at the back which is lovely. Also it's a nice length, not to short, not to long = bonus!

Tye Dye Dress - T K Maxx
My first trip to T K Maxx happened a couple of weeks ago with my sister and definitely found some good bargains! This is also my first midi dress, it was a good day of firsts. I absolutely love this one! It's a lovely print, black and white, and a lovely length. It's also a thin fabric for summer and not too restricted. I believe this was £12.99 which is an absolute bargain and I know I will get lots of wear out of this. I'll definitely be going back!

Coral Dress - T K Maxx
Another one of my purchases from T K Maxx is this gorgeous coral dress, I could not believe my eyes when I read the price tag, are you ready? This was £8!!! Yes it was a steal! It has a lovely lace detail peter pan collar which I love and again I don't own a dress in a coral colour so is another lovely addition to my wardrobe. This will be perfect for a night out and I honestly cannot wait to wear it :)

Purple Jumper - H&M
Guess where this is from, ha ha! H&M sale is genius. I already have one of these jumpers in a lovely orange colour so when they then got reduced in the sale I grabbed this one. It was reduced to £7 which is again a bargain and it's such a gorgeous colour. It comes up rather neon in the picture and it is rather bright but maybe just not that bright! It's perfect for summer as it's light weight, 3/4 sleeves and neon colours seem to be everywhere this summer.

Star Midi Skirt - Topshop
The Topshop sale was also pretty decent but I managed to stop myself and only purchase the one thing! But I have honestly wanted this skirt for such a long time but always thought it was rather pricey. So when it was reduced to £12 and then the woman asked if I was student and gave me the discount anyway meant it was only £10.80! I absolutely love stars so this is right up my street. It's a simple grey midi with black stars dotted all over. I think this can be dressed up or down with a nice crop top.

Lace Socks - Topshop
I went slightly sock crazy in Topshop, you'll see just why slightly further down. These were 3 for £8 but somehow I managed to get 4, ha ha, I couldn't choose between the colours. I got a nice pale blue, olive green, coral and lemon yellow. Perfect for summer with converse or the other thing down below... keep reading ;)

Floral Bando - Accessorize
I've been seeing many bloggers with floral crowns recently which I love on certain people but don't think I would like them on myself and don't want to take the plunge. So I opted for a slightly more subtle one from Accessorize. I believe this is around £8 and is just so summery I think it would look lovely with so many different outfits. It includes so many different colours and types of flowers which I love and it's noticeable but still quite subtle at the same time!

White Floral Bag - Asos
My beautiful beautiful bag... Isn't it just so god damn pretty. Browsing the Asos sale and coming across this pretty was the highlight of my day and it was half price!! At only £17.50 I couldn't resist buying it! It's a lovely size, has a longer strap and shoulder straps the only thing I'm scared about it getting the white dirty! Ha ha :)

T Bar Shoes - Topshop
I love these... first time I looked they sold out in my size but I was patient and persistent and as soon as they came back into stock I ordered them so fast! They are so adorable and these are the reason to the sock craziness above! Just imagine these shoes with those pretty lace socks, aaahhh it's to die for! I cannot wait to wear these with cute dresses etc, they just make me so excited! They were only £30 as well which for a pair of shoes is pretty reasonable if you ask me.

Make up - Boots
Recently Boots had a buy one get one half price offer on all make up so I took advantage and purchased these goodies. I got a Rimmel Salon Pro nail varnish in Barmy Blue which I have already reviewed, Maybelline Super Stay 24hr concealer, Collection white eyeshadow and Rimmel lipstick in Notting Hill Nude. All things I've wanted to try/needed for a while so thought it was a good time to take the plunge. I'll do full reviews soon :)

Lipsticks - Accessorize
Sale has hit at work and I found these beauties in the 70% off section and all for just £1.50 each! What a bargain I couldn't then resist to only get one shade so picked up three. From left to right I got: Velvet Pink, Vintage Rose and Coral Crush. They're all so pretty and summery and lovely additions to my small but growing collection of lip sticks. I haven't properly tried these out yet but for the price tag I can't complain too much yet and cannot wait to test these out in the coming summer days as I can see them being perfect!
Phew I've picked up a lot, he he! But all necessary of course ;) I hope you enjoy reading and seeing what I've purchased over the past month. I'd also love to have a nosey at your latest haul posts if you have any so leave them below as I love reading hauls! I'll speak to you all soon! XO

Rimmel Salon Pro in 447 Barmy Blue

Nearly every month I swear I cave in and buy new beauty bits, it just cannot be helped sometimes. This time the same as any other, Boots currently have a buy one get one half price on make up so I headed down and picked a few bits up, this being one. I've always been a fan of Rimmel nail varnishes but since these new Kate Moss ones launched I never got my hands on one.. until now.

Boy am I glad I picked this beauty up, there is a pretty wide range of colours so it took a rather long time of staring at a ray of colours until I chose this one in 447 Barmy Blue. It's a gorgeous colour with the hint of electric blue but a splash of navy blue. It's such an interesting mix of blues which is what drew me to this colour. Yes I love the colour there are also many other shades out there which I would love to get my hands on but the application of this nail varnish is just oh my, brilliant. The brush is quite wide which I like as it fits over the nail perfectly and simply just glides on. I only needed two coats and this nail varnish was fully opaque which is another winner, anything needing more than two coats bugs me.

These retail at £4.49 which is a bargain for the quality you're getting if I do say so! I cannot yet comment on the lasting power of these varnishes as I only painted them today but fingers crossed that's just as good as everything else about this varnish. I definitely recommend buying and trying this varnish and check out the range of colours! I will 100% be going back for some more shades in this range.

I'd love to know if you've tried any of these varnishes and which shades are you favourites? Also if you have, what the staying power is like? Leave me a comment below :-)

Skinetica Anti-Blemish Treatment

This post is well over due, I've been using the product featured for a good couple of months now so I can be sure to give you a good review on the product. I'm getting bored telling you regular readers this but if you're a newby then this is for you.. I have blemish prone skin and am still on 'that hunt', I haven't found 'it' yet but I'm finding products which help an awful lot along the way and here's one of them.

Skinetica was kind enough to send me this large bottle (80ml) and also a small sample bottle (15ml), which I have already used and recycled so that's why it is not pictured above. So in just over 2 months I have used up my small bottle and got about 1/4 left in the larger bottle, although due to having 2 houses I just leave this at one so I'll be honest and say I do not use this twice a day everyday, which is what Skinetica recommends.

"Skinetica is a genuine product that actually does what it says on the bottle!

A unique new solution that clears unsightly breakouts with visible improvements in 2-3 days.

  • No harsh chemicals
  • No side effects
  • Kind to skin
  • Dermatologically tested
  • Non-toxic, non-staining and non-greasy"

The information above was taken from the Skinetica website and what they claim the product to do and I have to say I agree. There are no harsh chemicals included just 4 simple ingredients and I have had absolutely no side effects to the product which is a bonus obviously. There is a slight smell to the product but nothing that stays on your face or too strong which is nice.

It's simply just a lovely product to use, I've been using it under my make up in the morning and then again before I go to bed and I can say I've seen an improvement. I literally just wet the cotton pad with the product and wipe it all over my face and then let it air dry which only takes a few moments. It claims that you can see improvements in 2-3 days which I agree with, although my spots may not completely disappear within that time I can definitely see an improvement in things such as size and redness on the spots I already had on my face before using this.

Overall I would definitely re-purchase this when my current bottle runs out as I now don't think my skin care routine would survive without it! I definitely recommend everyone with a skin type like mine to give it a go! Skinetica are actually doing free samples at the moment from their website and all you have to do is sign up and pay a £1 shipping fee which you cannot complain about! You can visit their website here

I'd love to know if you picked up a sample from Skinetica and your thoughts on the product or if you've already tried and tested it what you feelings were about it :) Leave me a comment below xo
