My new fashion love

At the moment I'm totally in love with this style of skirt or dress! The asymmetrical, chiffon style makes it look very chic and I feel I need to get my hands on one. I found the best place to look was Miss Selfridge. My favourite is the black dress which is actually from Miss Selfridge, the top half is like a PVC material and I think it gives off a slightly more grungey look which I love!! Just need to find enough money to buy it.. and then an occasion to wear it..

January GLOSSYBOX

After what feels like months of waiting my January GlossyBox finally arrived! And I must say it was probably worth the wait (as usual). This month I am more intrigued than ever as I have never actually tried any of the brands included, and I am happy as I my box included a new nail varnish, which as you know I love a little too much :-) So the 5 products included in my box were:

1. Eyeko skinny eyeliner in Plum
2. Orly nail lacquer in Ruby
3. Weleda one step cleanser and toner
4. FAB gentle body wash
5. Murad hybrids skin perfecting primer - Dewy finish
And GlossyBox sent their own little treat as you can see from the pictures!

I cannot wait to try them all and I will blog to let you know how I get on! Have you all received your GlossyBox? What was included in yours?! xo

Dip dye

I'd been thinking about getting my hair dip dyed for a while but after asking my normal hairdresser if she could do it and then getting the reply "What is dip dye?" I was a bit aprehensive about her doing it for me! That is when my sister got involved, haha! She said she would do it for me and I had never been so nervous about dying my hair. I've always dyed my hair but never bleached it so you could guess why I was a bit scared! So we ventured down to out local Boots and got the bleach. When it was finished after endless amounts of unanswered questions neither me or my sister knew the answer to, it actually turned out suprisingly well! I was very happy with the outcome and would say to people who are wanting to do something different with their hair... to try dip dye! Whether it's blonde, ombre or even pink!! What do you think about dip dye?! xo

This week at work we have already got our summer 2012 stock in and on the shop floor! It seems way too crazy as it's not even February yet. But it got me excited considering that I may be venturing on 2 holidays this year with my family :-) so I'm sharing a few of my favourite beach top picks that I've been hunting around for, enjoy!

The 2 bikinis are both from Asos
Pink embroidered playsuit from River Island
Leopard print chiffon pull over from Topshop
Aztec crop top from River Island

OPI Rainbow Connection - Muppets

As soon as I saw this nail varnish I instantly fell in love! It was an absolute mission to get my hands on one as when I went into the store I got told that they had sold out nationally :-( So this is when I turned to eBay (my secret love) and started watching about 30 different ones. Some ended up going for about £18!! But luckily I hung on in there and grabbed one for only £11.40, absolute bargain! I got it today in the post and have literally just finished painting and here I am blogging! Although you have to layer it up (about 3 layers) it's soooo worth it and I really am in love with this varnish! It is also my first OPI which made it even more exciting and I can easily say that I WILL be going back to the store and buying more :-D

Varnish love

So I think I've already tried to share my love for nail varnish with you, but here's a sneak peak at nearly all of my collection and as always, I'm still adding to it! The first picture shows all of my Rimmel varnish's. Starting at the top: baby blue, lilac, light green, black, coral, blue and silver glitter, and teal shimmer. The second picture: Rimmel top and base coat, accessorize gold glitter, Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle, pink glitter, Barry M grey, pearl, L&B french manicure set and Sally Hansen nail hardener. The last picture: Champney's dark red, Miners pearl pink/purple, Collection 2000 hot pink, No7 navy blue, No7 bright red, No7 purple, Barry M grey and Barry M green. That's my whole varnish collection and I can now safely say I have finally got my hands on the OPI rainbow connection and once it has arrived in the post I WILL be blogging about it (as you can tell I'm very excited, hehe).

Joules love

One of my favourite shops is Joules and whenever I've saved a little bit of money, that's where I head! And it's even better when some of the sale goes into outlet and EVEN cheaper! So I got this little beauty for £29.95 reduced from £75! #bargain And being a chunky knit for that price, it's even better! The colour is gorgeous too, as you can see from the pictures. It goes with literally everything and it's one of those which can be dressed up or down! With a shirt or jersey tee, jeans or skirt.. It's basically beautiful and I'm one very happy girl!

No7 stay perfect 2

So as I said I got another No7 voucher so ventured off to choose another varnish! As it was my mums voucher I had to think of what she'd like aswell unfortunately. So decided to choose this purple which has a hint of shimmer/glitter in and I must say, I much prefer this colour to the dark navy! It stands out much more and when it hits the light it is truely beautiful. Now it's time for me to find those Soap and Glory cosmetics...

Soap and Glory cosmetics

All I've been hearing is about the new Soap and Glory cosmetics! My mum is really into Soap and Glory and that has now rubbed off on me! I am yet to try the cosmetics but am definitely going to go and pick some up as at the moment Boots are doing 3 for 2 on all the cosmetics. I think I'll find it really hard to only choose 3 of the products but I'm heading towards the 'Love at first blush' (the one pictured on the very left), 'Kick ass concealer' (to the right of the blusher) and 'Face and body brush' (an obvious one but the brush above the other two items) I'm really excited to try these so once I have I will be blogging about them!!

No7 stay perfect

I had a No7 voucher for Boots so automatically went to the nail varnish and was stood there for ages trying to decide what colour to choose. I have so many different colours that I thought it was going to be easy...but NO. In the end I went for a navy blue which I thought would make a statement. I found applying this nail varnish was quite tricky as the brush was so large, the colour is very dark but in the light the navy blue shines through! Between me and you, I know my mums got one of these vouchers so I may well be having that off her and trying another colour!! With the voucher I had, I only paid £2.. bargain!!

staff xmas meal

Although christmas seems so long ago me and the girls from work set out for our christmas meal... late. The 9th January, Mackintosh's Canteen, Chapelfield, Norwich. The night consisted of burgers, walnut brownies and speed dating YES! It was like playing musical chairs but the fun but getting to know questions were getting repeated endless amounts. For example 'What was your most embarrassing moment?', 'What are your 3 island must haves?', 'Pet peeve?' and many many more!

lifetime memories

"Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose" I stumbled across these pictures on my laptop and everytime I look at them I fall in love again remembering the times that are included. Although we may not remember the days, we remember the moments and they stick with us for a lifetime.
