It's said a lot that black is the best colour, especially fashion wise, and I'm taking that to the next level with this post. I do adore black clothing, it's so easy to throw on and go, with barely any thought being put into it. You can dress it up or dress it down, you can accessorise it to the max or keep it plain and simple. The possibilities seem endless with the colour Black.

All of the items featured above are from the New Look website and clearly are all black. The skirt is probably my favourite out of all the items due to it's mix of suede and leather fabric. The mix of fabrics is also another fashion love recently and you get that in one fashion item with this skirt, again meaning less thought can be put into your outfit. A black and white stripy top is timeless and I think tucked into this skirt it would look casual and perfect for an everyday look. A cross body bag is my all time favourite style of bag if I'm honest. I do have a handbag but I find due to it's large size I stuff so much crap in there that when I use it, it severely hurts my shoulders. Therefore when I'm going out for the day, I transfer my essentials into a cross body bag so I don't have this problem.

I also feel as it is Winter, black is even more acceptable to wear everyday. I'm sure all you fashion lovers out there will agree with me, in general, about the colour black. I am also loving New Look at the moment as it's an affordable shop which incorporates a lot of the most loved fashion trends you want to get your hands on. Let me know your current favourite style/look and your favourite store to buy from :-)

Currently Lusting: Asos

Seriously why do Asos get me every time? They seem to always have something (normally more than one) that catches my eye and seems to make me feel that I need it, when I probably actually don't. Everything included in this wish list, for one reason or another, I feel that I need it. Also, why is it when something is out of stock in your size that you need it even more?! It's super annoying and I feel needy that I keep checking back on the website, hoping and praying that it's back in stock. Surprisingly half the time, it's not. I do find that when things go out of stock on Asos that it does take a long time to come back into stock, maybe that's just me or the items I'm waiting for.

I love pretty much everything about Asos, the quality, website, endless styles and the saved items section. I've rambled about Asos many a time before on my blog so I won't go into it again. If you are a newbie to Asos then I definitely recommend checking it out, I can assure you you will probably, definitely find something you will love. Not only do they have their own branded stuff but they also sell a lot of other brands too which I like. As you can tell by the Olivia Burton watch which I only found around an hour ago and is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm just not sure right now is the perfect time for me to be spending that much money however tempting it may be.

Be sure to check out Asos if you haven't before although I'm pretty sure all you reading this definitely will of. Share your personal favourites below in the comments for me to check out :-)

Accessorize collar necklace

For a long while now I've always been a fan of Accessorize's jewellery, you may call me biased as I am currently working there but personally love the variety of pieces. The new spring summer collection, that is pretty much now all in, incorporates all the bright neon colours, pretty floral and statement necklaces that are all perfect for the new season. I honestly think you'd be able to find a necklace, or other piece of jewellery, to suit any outfit for the coming summer months.

I find chunky collar necklaces the perfect way to jazz up a so called "boring" outfit. I have teamed this collar with a plain white tee (from Primark) and love the look. It's so effortless but the necklace makes all the statement it needs. I'm not going to lie, when this collar came into the store I work within, I hated it. Then more and more started coming in and this one kept catching my eye so I gave in and purchased it as a payday treat. I love the colour combination including the pearlescent flowers which glisten different colours in the light. Once added to a boring outfit it totally changes the look and makes it much more interesting!

Have you purchased any new jewellery from Accessorize lately?

Shop Dixi: New Launch

Hello ladies! I've got something exciting for you today and I'm so excited to be able to share this with you. I first discovered the Dixi website through Twitter, it's a gorgeous online store for both vintage and modern jewellery. As soon as I scowered their website I found so many jewels which instantly took my fancy. Since working with accessories I've become totally obsessed with them, especially necklaces and rings, and they're always the first things I look for on any jewellery website. Statement necklaces are my favourite piece to jazz up what could be classed as a 'boring' outfit and I'm loving stacking rings and above the knuckle rings.

The Dixi website is currently closed and shall be re-launching on Sunday 28th April bringing along with it loads of new jewellery pieces. Dixi incorporates modern and vintage jewellery to bring together individual and unique pieces. The pictures featured above, sent to me via Dixi, are some of the new pieces that will be arriving soon. They are from two of their new collections called "Woodstock" and "Luxe Bohemia". I was so excited when I received the email and got to look at these new pieces and there are quite a few pictured above that I definitely want to get my hands on. The rings look retro and simple, the necklaces look statementing and in fashion and the other accessories look funky and ready for the summer months.

There are going to be over 100 new items launching on Sunday and those pictured above are just a select few. Not only have Dixi changed their website but they have also changed their packaging, as you can see pictured. This I think will make the jewels delivered seem much more special and I personally always find jewellery boxes handy to use again and to store certain pieces in over and over. I also find the jewellery pieces at Dixi very affordable for the quality, it's high quality pieces for cheap affordable prices. I can definitely see some staple pieces in this collection which are going to be perfect for the coming summer months.

Now I have a lovely surprise for you, the lovely people at Dixi are offering all bloggers a introductory offer for the launch of their new website. They are offering 10% off any purchase for 7 days as of Sunday 28th April, meaning this offer ends on 6th May. Using the code 'BLOGGER10' you will get 10% discount on the items in your basket. I definitely recommend checking Dixi jewellery out if you haven't before, or even if you have then checking out their all new website launch featuring all new products.
