Sleek Eyebrow Stylist
I've always heard raves about Sleek blushes, which I do also love, but have never really heard much about any of their other products. So when browsing Boots online a while back I thought I would try something different from Sleek and try it out myself.
I love an eye brow product which makes doing my eye brows a nice and easy task. This product looked as if it was perfect. It has the product on one end and a brush on the other. Therefore this is perfect for on the go as you have everything you need in one small, hand bag friendly product. This product is the definition of sleek, excuse the pun. The packaging is nothing spectacular but I love that you get both the product and a pretty good brush.
I was looking forward to trying this product due to loving the packaging including the brush so much. I don't dislike this product but the main thing I noticed is that it's quite a waxy product. The colour pay off is good but I do find that sometimes when applying this product it can clump some of my eye brows together. Although this is obviously not the end of the world as you have the brush and can therefore brush through them and leave them looking great. But I can find that throughout the day this product doesn't last as well on me. I have an oily forehead anyway so I'm not sure if maybe this has anything to do with this product not lasting as long. But I haven't had many eye brow products, off memory, that have done this in the past. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing drastic, it's not like my eye brows have dropped considerably but I can just notice the difference.
Overall this is a pretty good product for the price but my Soap & Glory Archery brow pen still stands out for me. This product includes everything you need to complete your eye brow look which I absolutely love and not many eye brow products do that. But the actual product is wearable but unfortunately not my favourite I've tried, although I will continue to use it up. You can buy this product here from Boots. I'd love to know your favourite Sleek make up items that you recommend I try :-)

Benefit gimme brow
The minute I say that I'll be posting more I leave it longer than usual, how does that even work ha ha. I haven't even been on my laptop since Thursday, it's now Monday, that's a crazy amount of time! But I've just been super busy so I apologise for the lack of posts over the past week or so but I'm back with this beauty from Benefit.
This marvelous invention has added fibres which help give the appearance of naturally thicker and fuller brows with just a few sweeps of the brush. Easy huh? Benefit say:
"Bring on the brows! This innovative brush-on fiber gel adheres to skin
& hair…creating brows where before there were none. It builds easily
for thick, lush arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending &
precision tip for shaping."
So the brush, the teeny tiny brush is perfect for brows. It just fits meaning you can really work to build up your brows naturally in all the nooks and crannys, filling any sparse areas. With this brush there are no worries about getting it all on the skin around your brows due to it's size. I find this small brush so easy to work with meaning I can really focus on shaping and filling without worrying about getting it everywhere.
This product comes in two shades: light/medium and medium/deep. I have the shade medium/deep as naturally my hair is a very dark brown so this shade suits me perfectly. Benefit say that to match your shade get a section of hair from right underneath near the roots to get the best colour match. The darker shade can be quite dark once built up so it's best to get the right shade for yourself.
The formula of this product is just great, a tinted gel with the added fibres just glide onto your brows effortlessly. It's super quick and easy to apply making those dreaded brows a nice job in your make up routine. It's not an overly wet gel so it dries quickly and evenly but also you're not left with crispy looking brows, which is not a good look. The tiny fibres in this product really grip to your brow hair leaving them instantly fuller looking and just magnificent. Everyday I'm impressed with the results from this product and due to always having that morning rush to work I love that it's so quick, quicker than any other brow product but with amazing results.
Overall I am in love with this product and I will definitely repurchase this in the future. It's just so effortlessly brilliant and I'm all for an amazing, easy make up product. This just ticks all of the boxes for my brows and I couldn't recommend enough. Go buy it!

W7 Style Eyes Brow and Lash Gel
What a beautiful bank holiday weekend and yet again I worked throughout it all and the nasty flu seems to be going around my family recently and I seem to be the one next in line! Being at work at the same time is pretty darn naff so I apologise for the lack of posts and tweets (if you follow me on Twitter then you'll know, if not then you can follow me @natalieellis23) So onto slightly more exciting things, I recently made an order from Fragrance Direct which you may have seen in my last post so I've been using the products included to get up some new reviews for you ladies and here's the first one!
I seem to have been using this product the most so far so thought this would be the best one to review first as I have been able to get an all round feel for this product. I literally have been using this product every day and am really enjoying it. It's the first brow gel that I've ever tried so I don't have anything to compare it too but ever since filling in my eyebrows until now I had never even thought to use a brow gel. But when browsing the website I thought I'd give it a whirl.
It's literally like the simplest beauty product to use and it only takes a few seconds to apply, so why have I not used this before? I hate plucking my eyebrows especially those pesky ones that overnight poke out straight from your face so this product is perfect for setting them back into place. Because lets face it, we don't want to lose all our eyebrows now do we. So yes this product is simple, it sets your eyebrows in place and keeps the pesky ones at bay for the whole day (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it, sorry it had to be said haha) It also doesn't make my eyebrows feel or look like straw which was the one thing I was slightly worried about. Although quite a lot of product comes out on the brush I tend to take a little off the brush before I apply and it's perfect.
I have also been applying this before I apply my normal mascara on my lashes. I can't say I've noticed much of a difference apart from the application of my normal mascara, it just applies much more smoothly and it isn't any heavier on the eyes. It's the perfect product for a measly price of £1.99 and I really cannot pick one bad thing out about this product.
Have you tried any brow gels? I'd love to know your thoughts on them. Hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend :)

HD Foxy brow kit review
Hello Ladies! I hope you all had a lovely new year and welcomed the new year in with a bang! I've never really been someone who does an awful lot on new years eve, this year I just went to one of my boyfriend's friends house for a party, it was mellow but seeing as I had to be up at 7:30am the next day I really was not feeling it! New years day at work was a total DRAG, surviving off only a couple of hours sleep it has now caught up with me and right now I am absolutely shattered and after writing this I'm off to bed with my new book I got for Christmas.
Onto the review, I received this product when I was subscribed to Glossybox (after a few rubbish months I was not going to continue paying for my box unfortunately) when I received it I wasn't one for filling in my eyebrows so it was one of those products that just got put to one side for a couple of months. Then one day when I was clearing out my make up draw and came across this and thought I should at least try it out!
The first time I tried this product I really hated it, but I know why I hated it. I'm pretty sure I started using the wrong colour, it was way too dark and when I applied it I took it straight off again. I then went and purchased a Rimmel eyebrow pencil and started using that. I then went back to this product again and using a different colour I absolutely fell in love with it (I use the colour 'Dark Brown' which is the bottom right colour). Literally I find this product the easiest to apply, it really only takes a minute and done! The kit comes with a brush, one end is rounded and the other angled which again makes the application even easier. I mainly use the rounded end just because my eyebrows are more rounded than square. Simple.
I now fill in my eyebrows everyday as I think I'd definitely feel bare without them. You can see from the left hand side picture that when they're not filled in, they're not very full or thick. Before this never would have even crossed my mind, let alone bother me but now, like I said, it's part of my everyday make up routine. After using this product I don't think I'll use any other product on my eyebrows, this really is amazing. Although I'm always prone to trying out new products to see what they're like I think I might just stick to this one. It makes my eyebrows appear more fuller, thicker and literally just stand out slightly more. I would never want to wear something on my eyebrows that would make me look like a clown or like I had a scouse brow, NO NO NO! This product is subtle yet does the job perfectly. If you're looking for a product to fill in your eyebrows I would 110% recommend this product to you. The four different colours are: top left - Nude, top right - Carbon, bottom left - Warm Brown, bottom right - Dark Brown. It also comes in a lovely compact with a mirror so can easily be chucked into your handbag, although when I apply it in the morning, I have never needed to reapply throughout the day so it has great lasting power!
Have you tried this product? What do you use to fill in your eyebrows?
xo
