I love being nosy and looking at various wish lists, whether that's beauty or fashion. I thought I hadn't done one myself for quite some time, so thought I would get back into it with a high end beauty wish list. Personally at the moment, I feel there are so many high end beauty products that I'm lusting after! Is it just me? There seems to be a lot of new releases also which have made me all excited. I wish I could just purchase all of these, unfortunately not, however I'm hoping to tick them off one by one!

The new Lancôme lipsticks look AMAZING! I've seen and heard good things and I think they may be the first thing from this wish list that I will purchase. I'm not an avid lip stick wearer but I feel these would be perfect for myself due to not be too bold but would work with my drier lips.

The Nails Inc spray on nail varnish is something I'm unsure about and I keep thinking, how can this work? However I would still love to get my hands on one to try it out for myself. I've read a couple of reviews but haven't heard all that much about this product to be honest.

Most of the other products have actually been on my wish list for quite some time now. You know when something has been on your wish list for so long and after a while you're just like "can you be mine now please?" - well that's how I feel about these products.

I'd love to hear what's on your current beauty wish list, whether it's high end or high street. Also if you've tried any products and have reviewed them on your blog, then leave a link below for me to have a read of :-)

6 product face / Everyday make up

A 5 product face may have sounded better but I wanted to be honest and actually show you all of the product I do use on a daily basis. Which just so happened to be 6 products, so may not have that ring to it but I'm sharing my week day make up products with you.

Let's start with the base, my current favourite foundation has to be this one from Smashbox. It's called 'Studio Skin 15 hour wear hydrating foundation'. I actually purchased this when I was in Paris last year and it kind of got shoved to the back of my make up draw, until recently. This is an oil free foundation which is great for my oily t zone. It's the perfect natural base for me and although I don't agree it last 15 hours, I believe it does last most of my working day which is good enough for me.

Next are my 2 current concealers: Maybelline instant anti-age and Nars radiant creamy concealer. I use the Maybelline concealer under my eyes and it has this super easy to apply sponge end. This also makes it quick to apply when your in a rush in the mornings before work. Then my trusted, relatively new Nars concealer. This is an absolute god send and covers absolutely anything and everything. Honestly the best concealer I have ever tried. I absolutely love it for covering my blemishes and it's really easy to blend in.

For my brows I use the Soap and Glory Archery brow pen which is amazing. It has a felt tip one end and a crayon the other. I do prefer the felt tip end but it does dry out so I'm now onto using the other end which I do also love. Although I'm now at the very end and soon to run out. This is easy to whack onto my brows and then give them a quick brush through and done.

Mascara wise, I do change up a lot, but the one I'm using at the moment is the Rimmel Wonder'full mascara. This is the perfect week day mascara as it doesn't clump and literally just leaves my lashes looking natural. Which is definitely something I look for when going to work. It's not heavy on your lashes at all and leaves them feeling super soft.

Finally powder, the Soap and Glory one heck of a blot which instantly mattifies my oily t zone. It leaves me oil free for a good few hours but I definitely need to re powder on my lunch break. It's a transparent powder which is great as you can just brush it all over and you're ready to go.

And that's it for my 6 product face! I honestly wear all of these products on my face throughout the week days and they all serve me well. I do love changing up a few of these products every now and then; normally my mascara and foundation. These are just all super easy and blendable products to use therefore making my week day morning routine nice and simple. Perfect for those rushed mornings when you wake up late for work! Let me know your current favourite make up products you use every day :-)

Smashbox photo finish blemish control primer

Another Thursday post before uni when I actually should be doing uni work. But seriously motivation has hit an all time low this morning and I just couldn't focus so instead of doing the important stuff I've been lulling around basically doing jack s**t! Whoops! Hopefully when I actually get to uni this will change.

Anyway onto the review of this Smashbox primer, I picked this up when I was in Paris a couple of months back and have really been enjoying using it since so I thought I would share my thoughts with you. I know now that you probably all know I suffer from blemishes so this product instantly stood out to me. The woman in Sephora actually took my make up off and re-applied with this as the base and I instantly loved how smooth it was on application, leaving my skin super soft. Smashbox say:

"Banish blemishes! Makeup meets skincare with this perfecting primer that treats breakouts, provides oil-free hydration and keeps skin clearer over time. Apply to bare skin for best results"

I always find it really hard to know what products help my blemishes, I use quite a few blemish products each day so to know which ones are working the best can sometimes be tricky. As I have been using this every day I can say I think this has really helped my blemishes. It contains 2% salicylic acid which really helps treat breakouts which unfortunately I suffer from.

I apply this after my moisturiser in the mornings and it leaves my skin feeling nice and is a really nice base for my foundation. One slight downer of this product is it, only sometimes, seems quite watery. I find I have to shake the tube before using it as sometimes it's like the product comes out separated. You have a watery substance and then what looks like the primer. Obviously you can rub your hands together then mixing the product together but when you're paying £28 for a primer, I know I'd quite like it to do it's job.

Overall it's a lovely primer and definitely helps the look of my skin when I'm having a bad blemish day! There it one slight con but it can be overcome so it's not the end of the world. I've heard lots about Smashbox's other primers so I'd definitely love to hear if any of you have tried those and your thoughts?! Also your thoughts on this particular one :-) I hope you're all enjoying the sunshine!

Paris beauty haul

So another belated post as it seems forever ago since I went to Paris and since my 21st birthday, but finally I'm showing you the beauty bits and bobs that I purchased whilst I was in Paris. Now as you can tell I didn't go wild, I was a silly beauty blogger and didn't find out about any French skin care or make up brands before going out so when looking and it all being in French I didn't have a clue what they were. I knew there were definitely a couple of things I hand my eye on but another thing is that the Euro to pound conversion is practically the same, so things out there weren't any cheaper.

The first place I obviously made my mum stop was Sephora. I've never been into one before and there was one literally about a minutes walk away from our hotel = bonus. So there were a couple of trips made there. The first two things I bought were from Smashbox which you can obviously get in the UK. First I got the Blemish Control primer which I've had my eye on for a while! The lady in the shop actually took my make up off and used these two products and I fell in love with the finished look. The foundation is the Studio Skin Hydrating foundation in the colour 1.1. These two products work really well together and so far am enjoying using them.

Next was my 21st birthday splurge. I've never spent so much money on a lipstick before but just look at it simply. It's so god darn beautiful. I actually purchased this at the airport on the way home as it worked out cheaper than it did at Sephora or even back in the UK obviously so ended up being just under £20 I believe. It's the Volupte Sheer Candy from YSL in shade 6. It's the most wearable red ever, you can simply apply one layer for a sheer but noticeable red lip or you can really build it up for a more intense red lip. So far I'm loving it!

And finally the cult French pharmacy buy which I just had to have really. I know there are now a few UK brand versions of the Bioderma but I needed to try the original for myself! I actually got the combination/oily skin type one which I actually didn't know existed until I was out there. It's obviously brilliant at taking your make up off and again I've really enjoyed using it. They come in different sizes etc so I just went for the one in the middle which is 250ml, but this can also be purchased from online now and delivered to the UK from certain websites.

Overall so far I'm loving everything I purchased in Paris which is a bonus and doesn't always happen! I hope you enjoyed this small Paris haul and let me know if you've tried any of these products :-)
